Use a logo, silhouette or monochrome drawing. Adjust the threshold until the black-and-white preview shows the detail you want.
Trace and set the size
Compare the outline and filled shape. Enter a width or height; the other dimension follows the traced artwork, excluding blank margins.
Download and measure
Download SVG or DXF after file checks. Measure the import in your target software and inspect holes before making anything.
Start with the right kind of image.
Clean, high-contrast artwork works best. This version traces closed monochrome shapes; it does not recover CAD dimensions, recognise text or make centreline engraving paths.
How tracing and checks workCheck the size and holes after importing.
Open your download in the application where you plan to use it. Check the width, height, holes and orientation; if the size differs, check the mm/inch settings first.

Is this converter free?
Yes. Convert one JPG, JPEG or PNG at a time and download complete SVG or DXF files, without an account or watermark.
Does my image leave this device?
No. Image processing happens in this browser. Your work remains in tab memory; refreshing or closing the tab clears it. Downloads are saved by your browser.
Can I convert a colour photo?
It is converted to black and white before tracing, so colours and photographic detail are not preserved. Choose a clear monochrome image for predictable outlines.
Is the output ready to cut?
Review it first. The tool checks generated contours and reparses exports, but does not check self-intersections, toolpaths or machining. The recorded LightBurn calibration covers one fixture, not your file.
